The Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is a public utility! That means DPU focuses on service and community involvement rather than profits. DPU provides electric, gas, water and sewer services for Los Alamos County residents and businesses, and provides wholesale electric and water services to the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
We provide Trash collection and recycling services for Los Alamos and White Rock as well as education outreach programs to inform residents and commercial business about Recycling and waste management initiatives.
