Trash and Recycling

Los Alamos County Environmental Services will be closed Wednesday, January 14, for employee development, safety training, certification compliance, and facility maintenance. This includes operations at the Eco Station and the White Rock Overlook Convenience Center. Trash and recycling collection services will also be suspended. Collection services for those impacted will be provided Thursday, January 15. 

 

Los Alamos County Environmental Services provides a variety of waste management and sustainability services for both residential and commercial customers. We collect trash, recycling, and yard trimmings, and accept household hazardous waste at the Eco Station on a set schedule. Our team also offers free landscaping materials for residential pickup and other community services. We operate both the Eco Station and the Overlook Convenience Center, ensuring convenient waste disposal options for the community.
