Low Income Apts.

Affordable rental housing projects are located throughout Los Alamos. These are subsidized by various state and federal programs to provide assistance for lower income residents.

Section 8 Assistance

Los Alamos County partners with Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority (SFCHA) - Espanola Office for Section 8 assistance. Housing specialist Christine Archuleta is available twice monthly in Los Alamos at the Social Services office at 1183 Diamond Dr., Ste. Utilities

Visit Public Utilities to set up an account for electricity, natural gas, water, sewer, trash, and recycling services. All services are consolidated on one bill issued by the Dept. of Public Utilities.

Visit Environmental Services for information or questions regarding replacement roll carts, recycling, and trash pick-up schedules.
