The scope of work includes the design and construction of the Canyon Rim Trail Phase III; the project will extend the Canyon Rim Trail from where it currently ends at Knecht Street westward to 15th Street along the canyon rim.
Final design is underway, anticipated design completion is Summer 2024.
This project supports three of Council's Strategic Goals; infrastructure management, communication and engagement, and mobility. Staff has engaged the neighborhood and coordinated citizen involvement and feedback as a key part of the project development process, the project will improve and expand access to alternative modes of travel including cycling, and walking amenities.
