Update - October 9, 2025

10/9 Menduis Lane

10/9-10 39th Street - paving

10/13-14 37th Street both north and south paving

The Los Alamos County Public Works Department announces that the next phase of the North Mesa Pavement Preservation Project will begin on Monday, October 6, 2025, on North Mesa Road. The work, which will be performed by Albuquerque Asphalt.

North Mesa Road – During work hours (7 a.m.-6 p.m.) North Mesa Road will be reduced to a single lane from the Diamond Drive Roundabout to San Ildefonso Road.  Traffic will be limited to traveling in the eastbound direction (Roundabout to San Ildefonso) during all phases of this work.  Westbound traffic will be detoured along San Ildefonso.

All work on this phase of the pavement preservation project is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday October 15, weather permitting.
