Los Alamos County Community Services is hosting an open house on Tuesday, July 22, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Fuller Lodge, to review and provide input on draft concepts for the North Mesa Recreation Plan. The plan proposes renovations to the 26-acre North Mesa Recreation Area—also known as “FEMA-ville”—which features sports fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and more. The contractor, Sites Southwest, will be onsite to answer questions on the draft concepts aimed at enhancing recreational opportunities and improving quality of life in Los Alamos County. This event offers residents and staff the opportunity to review the proposed ideas and share feedback to help shape the future of this important community space.
Virtual participation option is available. For updates on the meeting location, Zoom access, or additional project information, please visit:
