  1. What is your vision for the future of the recreation area?

  2. What do you want to preserve here?

  3. What are the existing amenities that you would like to see improved here?

  4. What potential new amenities would best serve the community of Los Alamos?

Project Purpose & Background

This project’s goal is to work with County staff and the Los Alamos community to develop a master plan for the North Mesa Recreation Area. This area is approximately 26 acres of open space and includes a soccer field, small parking lot, volleyball pits, dog park, tennis courts, and a playground.

Through this process, the contractor will listen to staff, stakeholders, and community members to understand their needs and desired uses for this space. This will help shape a plan that is intended to improve the quality of life for residents and enhance County open space, parks, and recreation offerings.
