Acquiring Stable Lots & Improvements
The North Mesa Stables area is public land owned by Los Alamos County. Stable lots are individually licensed to residents on an annual basis, while the improvements on each lot are owned by the licensee.
The use of the stable lots is for the principal purpose of stabling domestic equines. At least one equine is required. Other permitted livestock are listed in the Stable Rules & Regulations.
