Have Your Say: Guaje Pines Cemetery Master Plan Survey Now Open
Published on April 21, 2025
Los Alamos County has partnered with Sloane Consulting Group to create a comprehensive Master Plan for Guaje Pines Cemetery, located at 901 Range Rd. This plan will provide a long-term vision for the care, maintenance, and development of the cemetery, ensuring it remains a peaceful and meaningful space for future generations.
The County is inviting the community to share their input through a survey that will help shape the future of the cemetery. The survey is designed to gather feedback on how Guaje Pines Cemetery can be improved, including topics such as the importance of continued burial space, interest in different end-of-life options, and what visitors value most about the cemetery, including its connection with surrounding parks and local trails.
The survey will be open until May 30th. Your feedback is essential to ensuring the Master Plan reflects the needs and values of the community. This is an opportunity for residents to have a direct impact on the development and preservation of a significant local asset.
