Experience Storytelling Through Drumming
Published on May 15, 2025
The Los Alamos Public Library is excited to host a unique experience in Storytelling Through Drumming at White Rock Branch Library on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Jordan Ramos-Flores of Unidrums will lead the afternoon workshop in White Rock, guiding a group of participants through exercises to stimulate the flow of storytelling through rhythm and percussion. Ramos-Flores will lead the exploration and invite contributions from those who are compelled to share.
“I’m truly honored and excited about what we’re creating together,” said Ramos-Flores. “I believe this program will be something special, and I’m thrilled to align with the library’s vision of nourishment, connection, and accessible wellness.”
No prior experience as a writer or as a musician is necessary to benefit from this unique style of storytelling. All the drums and materials necessary to be fully immersed in the workshop will be provided.
To ensure the group remains intimate and accessible with hands-on support, the library requests participants register in advance online at laconm.libcal.com/event/14573749
