ACT Seeks Feedback on Saturday ACT MyRide Program
Published on September 12, 2025
Los Alamos County's Atomic City Transit (ACT) is asking riders and nonriders to complete a short survey open Friday, September 12 through Saturday, October 25 to share feedback on its Saturday ACT MyRide pilot program. The free program, which runs through Oct. 25, 2025, expanded the on-demand, same-day rides to include Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. within Los Alamos townsite and White Rock.
Take the online survey at lacnm.com/SatSurvey, obtain a paper copy at the Municipal Building, Mesa Library, or White Rock Library or request a paper copy to be mailed by emailing AtomicCityTranist@lacnm.us including the requested address and return postage.
Riders who have used the service are invited to share how it worked for them, what they liked and what could be improved. Community members who have not used the service are also encouraged to share their reasons, helping ACT improve participation. Responses will help ACT evaluate whether to continue Saturday service, uncover geographic zone changes, and identify potential future operations.
Passengers can request door-to-door rides through the ACT MyRide app, available on Google Play or the App Store, or by calling 505-661-RIDE (7433). Service to the general public is available Monday through Friday in the mornings from 5:15 - 6 a.m. and in the evenings 6:30 - 9 p.m., and now Saturdays all day from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. until the end of October. The paratransit service ACT MyRide Assist is available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. to ADA riders who have completed the application process. Visit the webpage to learn how to apply.
