Local Emergency Planning Committee
About the LEPC:
The requirements for Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), established under the Environmental Protection Act, is designed to foster a partnership between government agencies and industry to improve hazardous materials preparedness and chemical emergency responses. However, the Los Alamos LEPC has broadened its focus to include preparedness for a wide range of hazards, affecting everyone in the community. We host quarterly meetings that are open to everyone, offering a platform to identify and address challenges and resources in planning for and responding to any hazardous incidents.
Meeting Information:
Hosted By: The Los Alamos Emergency Management Office.
