Metropolitan Redevelopment Area Questions and Answers

Los Alamos County hosted a hybrid Q&A session to discuss Metropolitan Redevelopment Areas (MRAs) in Los Alamos and White Rock on November 5th 2025. to answer questions on what it could mean for the community. County staff explained how MRAs are designated districts where public and private investment can be focused to revitalize underutilized or blighted areas. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions about funding mechanisms and how redevelopment projects might support housing, local businesses, and public spaces.
