Change of Address(PDF, 242KB)
Use this form to make a change to your name, mailing address or both.

Head of Family Exemption Request Form(PDF, 131KB)
If you are head of family, and a New Mexico resident you may be eligible for this exemption.

Veteran's Exemption Request Form(PDF, 102KB)
This form must be filled out and returned to the Assessor's Office along with your Veteran's Certificate of Eligibility in order to qualify for this exemption. Must be submitted no later than 30 day after the mailing of the Notices of Value.

Property Valuation Limitation-Based on Age, Income or Disability Application(PDF, 681KB)
Application and instructions for Low Income Owners 65 Years of Age or Older or Disabled.

Affordable Housing Valuation Adjustment(PDF, 76KB)
Owners of residential affordable housing should complete this form and submit it to the county assessor for verification of the affordable housing adjustment.

Personal Property Declaration(PDF, 778KB)
All personal property used in your business entity that is depreciated for Federal Income Tax purposes in the prior calendar year is subject to valuation for property taxation purposes in the State of New Mexico (Property Tax Statute 7-36-8, Sub Section B). Personal Property Reporting Forms will be mailed out in the month of December. Any person who fails to make a required report by the last day of February is liable for a civil penalty. Livestock Reporting(PDF, 293KB)
All livestock located in Los Alamos County must be valued for property taxation purposes pursuant to 7-36-21 NMSA. Any person who fails to make a report by the last day of February is liable for a civil penalty. Click on the link below for a copy of our livestock reporting form.

Use this form if you have recently changed your manufactured home to a permanent foundation.
