This project was approved by County Council on March 26, and awarded to TLC Plumbing and Utility. Work is expected to begin in early April.

The scope of work includes upgrades to the water, gas, electric services, and installation of a new low pressure sewer system. Upgrades to communication lines (Comcast & Lumen) and installation of conduit for future County fiber is also included in the utility upgrades. The roadway will be fully reconstructed to include curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drain system, new street lighting and a cul-de-sac at the eastern end of the project.

This project supports three of Council's Strategic Goals; Economic Vitality by providing new infrastructure to support existing businesses and the development of Tract A-16, Environmental Stewardship by providing sewer access to properties that are currently served by septic systems, and operational excellence by upgrading existing utility and roadway infrastructure that is past its useful life.
