Los Alamos County has partnered with Sloane Consulting Group to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for Guaje Pines Cemetery, located at 901 Range Rd. This plan will outline a long-term vision for the care, maintenance, and development of the cemetery, ensuring it remains a peaceful and meaningful place for generations to come.

As part of the community engagement process, the County invites residents to take part in a Virtual Public Meeting to share feedback and ideas directly with the project team. This meeting is an opportunity for community members to help shape the future of Guaje Pines Cemetery and discuss key topics such as burial space needs, evolving end-of-life options, and the cemetery’s connection to nearby parks and trails.

In addition to attending the meeting, residents can also provide input through a community survey, open through May 30th. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and covers topics such as the importance of continued burial space, interest in alternative interment options, and what visitors value most about the cemetery.
