NMDOT to close Westbound Lane on Main Hill for road sealing today

The New Mexico Department of Transportation will close the westbound lane of N.M. 502 today, May 19, beginning at approximately 10 a.m. to place asphalt sealant on the roadway.

A 3-mile flagging operation will be in place beginning east of the N.M. 4/N.M. 502 interchange at mile marker 7.0 and continue to mile marker 4.5 east of Camino Entrada.  The lane closure is expected to remain in effect until about 4 p.m. 

Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution when traveling through the area.  Westbound motorists may use the Truck Route to avoid delays.
