On March 12, a Public Engagement Listening Session for a North Mesa Recreation Plan will take place from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Cottonwood on the Greens at the Los Alamos County Golf Course.

The Community Services Department invites community members to participate in the North Mesa Recreation Plan meeting. This project aims to develop a master plan for the North Mesa Recreation Area, a 26-acre open space, that is also referred to as FEMA-ville, that includes sports fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and more.

This is your chance to share your input and help shape the future of this important community space. The contractor will be gathering feedback from staff, stakeholders, and residents to create a plan that enhances recreational opportunities and improves the quality of life in Los Alamos County.

Attendees will be able to ask questions and offer feedback. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom option will be available to participate virtually.
