Wastewater Monitoring

BioBot Shaded map of the United States broken into regions

Please note that due to a change in BioBot operations, we will not be receiving updated data after August 31, 2024. The County is still evaluating how to continue this wastewater surveillance program through Biobot or another vendor.

Los Alamos County was participating in a wastewater surveillance program with BioBot to monitor our wastewater for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and Influenza A and B. Samples are collected from two sites, one in Los Alamos and one in White Rock. BioBot's graphs of the most recent data for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), RSV, and Influenza A and B are included in the accordions below. As with all health issues, we recommend that you consult with your physician regarding any of the data if you are concerned.
