Urban Trail Phase I and II Project Current Update

Construction details for the week of July 29, 2024

Crews will work from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.

 

  • Construction of the Trail continues along the north side of Canyon Road between the Tennis Courts and Los Alamos Nature Center driveway
  • The north shoulder on Canyon remains closed, with two lanes of traffic generally maintained. 
  • The section of sidewalk on the northwest corner of Trinity Dr/20th Street will be closed for repair work.  Pedestrian detours will be in place. 
  • Flaggers will be used when lane closures are needed for construction vehicles access to the work areas.
  • Work to construct the boardwalk section of the trail will also continue in the wooded area by the Tennis Courts.
