Federal Assistance
NOTE: Nearly all Federal Tax Credits for improving efficiency and electrification efforts will be ending by December 2025. Click on the image chart below for more details. Contractors, installers, and dealers should be aware of the details as well. Credits will require an additional form, or steps depending on how you file, to be submitted with your tax filing. For example, Form 5695 is completed for residential improvements to the building envelope (doors, windows) and heat pumps.

We do encourage customers to take advantage of sales where they can. Additionally pre-planning your home improvement list could help reduce contractor redundancies.
There is a limited amount of funding available for income-qualified weatherization assistance. Options include the Home Renewal Program and the Central New Mexico Housing Corporation. Each program has specific requirements.
