NM502 all lanes open, following Semi-Truck rollover

The accident has been cleared following a semi-truck rollover earlier this afternoon on NM502. All lanes on NM 502 are open.

Eastbound traffic, one lane open in response to Semi Truck Rollover Affects Traffic on NM 502
As of 4:22 p.m., New Mexico Department of Transportation with the assistance of Los Alamos and Santa Fe Counties have created a temporary lane shift around the accident to reopen NM 502 eastbound traffic flow following a semi-truck rollover earlier this afternoon. The incident, which was reported at approximately 1:15 p.m., involved no other vehicles. Eastbound traffic will merge to one lane in the westbound travel lanes of NM 502, leaving one lane for westbound traffic. Motorists should exercise caution and follow all traffic control devices. Traffic delays are expected until the area is cleaned and all lanes are reopened. Los Alamos Police and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office remain on the scene. A semi-truck rollover on NM 502, near the Tewa Gas station at mile marker 10, has led to the closure of the eastbound lane on NM 502 this afternoon. The westbound lane is open. The incident was reported at approximately 1:15 p.m. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Los Alamos Police and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office are currently on the scene, responding to the situation. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while authorities work to clear the roadway.
