Los Alamos November Contractors Meeting Rescheduled for January 2025

Los Alamos County has rescheduled their November Contractors Meeting for January 17, 2025, from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Council Chambers. This meeting is open to contractors, architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in building and construction.

The meeting, titled “Code Compliance Mastery: Tips & Tools for Contractors” will cover key topics such as a review of Los Alamos County's current codes, tips on how to pass inspections, when design professional stamps are required, in addition to insulation tips to meet code requirements.

The event will feature two guest speakers, Architect Steve Shaw and Professional Engineer Massoud Mogadham, who will share advice for ensuring compliance in future projects.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in the open discussion and bring any questions regarding code requirements, inspections, or design concerns. This event promises to provide valuable information for building professionals in Los Alamos County.
