County and local organizations highlighted at the Round House March 12

Los Alamos County Day at the Legislature in Santa Fe will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Los Alamos County has invited several local area organizations to join staff at the Round House, including Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC), which includes the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce and Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District, UNM-LA, National Park Service (NPS), Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC), North Central New Mexico Economic Development District (NCNMEDD), Regional Development Corporation (RDC), New Mexico Consortium, and others. Each organization and various County divisions will have the opportunity to interact with legislators and the public and showcase information.
This year, the Day will also be marked by presentations by some participating organizations. Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District is sponsoring Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) for a special 20-minute classical ballet and modern dance performance during the noon hour. All the activities will take place in the Capitol Rotunda. Local small business Wolf and Mermaid Enchanted Roasters, sponsored by the County, will provide coffee while it lasts.

- 10:30 a.m. - Los Alamos County Emergency Management: Personal emergency preparedness and your "Go Bag"
- 11 a.m. - UNM-LA: Projects, Programs and Purpose
- 11:30 a.m. - LACDC: Small Businesses, Community Events, and Tourism
- 12 p.m. - Entertainment: Dance Arts Los Alamos
- 1 p.m. - Winners Announced from the various Los Alamos County participating tables
- 1:30 p.m. - National Park Service (Nick Murray and Dave Krueger): Los Alamos County Gateway to Three National Parks
