Community Invited to Share Input on Bayo Canyon Trailhead Improvements
Published on March 12, 2026
Los Alamos County, in partnership with landscape architecture firm Groundwork Studio, invites community members to attend a public meeting to provide input on planned renovations at the Bayo Canyon Trailhead.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Pajarito Room at Fuller Lodge. Residents, trail users, and community groups are encouraged to attend and share feedback about how the site is currently used and what improvements could better serve the community.
The goal of the meeting is to gather insights from the public and local user groups to help guide future design improvements at the trailhead. Community input will help inform plans that enhance access, usability, and the overall experience for visitors.
Those unable to attend in person can participate virtually or provide feedback through an online survey.
