Budget hearings continue tonight

APR. 23, 2025 UPDATE:  The County Council adopted the fiscal year 2026 budget at the April 23rd Council meeting.  Budget hearings for Monday, April 28 and Tuesday, April 29 are canceled.  

 

The Los Alamos County Council will continue the Los Alamos County Fiscal Year 2026 budget hearings this evening, Wednesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, 1000 Central Ave. Los Alamos. An online option via Zoom is also available to those individuals who would prefer to join remotely.

The Council began its budget  hearings earlier this week on April 21 and 22. Recordings of those sessions are also accessible on the Legistar website. If the Council does not adopt the budget at tonight’s meeting, hearings will resume on Monday, April 28 and if necessary, Tuesday, April 29.

 

Public comments are accepted at the beginning of the meeting for items that are not on the agenda. Also, public comments will be taken prior to final adoption of the budget.
