Art in Public Places Board Seeks New Board Members

The Art in Public Places (APP) Board is seeking community members committed to enhancing public spaces to help shape the artistic landscape of Los Alamos County! Three board positions will be open, offering a unique opportunity to influence how art enhances public spaces and enriches this community.
- Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2026
- Interviews to be held February 2026
- New terms begin March 25, 2026
Who can apply?
Los Alamos County residents who are not employed by the County and do not hold public office are eligible.

What does the APP Board do?
Board members play a vital role in:
- Organizing calls for art and artists
- Gathering community input on public art projects
- Managing and preserving the County’s public art collection
