The scope of work includes removal of existing asphalt surface and base course and replacement with new base course and asphalt, new curb and gutter, drainage inlets, sidewalk, ADA ramps with detectable warning surfaces, drive pads, utilities valve adjustments, and sewer manhole cover adjustments, and striping. This project is a joint project with the Department of Public Utilities to include rehabilitation of aging gas lines, replacement of waterlines, and additional new hydrants.

The project is slated for construction in the Spring of 2024.  Subsequent communications will be shared with impacted residents prior to construction, as project details and schedule are finalized. 

This project supports three of Council's Strategic Goals; investing in infrastructure asset management, enhancing communication and engagement and mobility. This project provides maintenance and improvements to existing infrastructure. The enhancement of communication strategic goal is being accomplished by engaging the neighborhood and coordinating citizen involvement and feedback as a key part of the project development process, the project will improve and expand access to alternative modes of travel including cycling, and walking amenities.
