Los Alamos Mesa Trail
Project Purpose and Scope:
The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate approximately 2,500 linear feet of the Los Alamos Mesa Trail to bring it into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Public Right of Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG). The scope of work includes revitalizing the trail surface and improving accessibility along the segment stretching from East Park to Nambe Place and the Airport. In addition to the physical improvements, the project involves the preparation of detailed construction documents, active engagement with the public and key community members throughout the design process, and oversight during construction to ensure the work meets quality standards and regulatory compliance.
