Simpson also thanked local store Atomic City Quilts for working with the Procurement Office to get the County yards of material for purchase toward the effort, and local Facebook group Los Alamos Mask Donations which has sewing volunteers donating their time.

Simpson reminded volunteers donating time and services for anything related to the COVID-19 pandemic to log their hours and efforts using a the online form available on the County’s COVID-19 website

Samples of eligible items include spending time helping to deliver meals to vulnerable seniors or making face masks for the community and County first responders.
