Register with the NM Dept. of Health

Register with the New Mexico Dept. of Health website to schedule an appointment for a
COVID-19 vaccine or booster in accordance with the CDC Criteria.

Instructions on how to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment on the NMDOH website after registration is complete and an NMDOH Confirmation number is obtained (seven-digit code to access one's personal portal).

Vaccine Locations in Los Alamos

Covid-19 vaccines and boosters continue to be “highly effective in reducing risk of severe disease, hospitalization, and death, even against the current Delta variant,” according to the New Mexico Department of Health website. There is no charge to the individual and is conveniently available at various locations throughout Los Alamos

If you are having trouble scheduling an appointment call the Los Alamos Public Health Office at 505-662-4038 and ask for the Public Health Nurse Jack Allison. Or call the NMDOH hotline at 1-855-600-3453, option 3, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., seven days a week.)

  • Nambe Drugs: 111 Central Park square, Los Alamos, NM 87544

  • Smith’s Pharmacy: 751 Trinity Dr. in Los Alamos and 31 Sherwood Blvd in White Rock. Schedule appointments directly on the Smith's Vaccine website.  

  • Los Alamos Fire Department: Will administer the Moderna vaccine for homebound Individuals. These appointments are coordinated through the County Social Services Office by calling 505.662.8068.

Los Alamos County does not have a vaccine clinic scheduled at this time.
