DPU & Customer Care to be Closed

Closure for holiday luncheon 2023

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) administrative office and the Customer Care Center, located at 1000 Central Ave., Suite 130, will close during the lunch hour on Tuesday, December 12. In celebration of the holiday season, DPU management will be hosting an appreciation luncheon for all DPU employees between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 

“This year has been incredibly busy with a lot of ups and downs,” said Utilities Manager Philo Shelton. “We’re looking forward to gathering our whole staff from our six different locations for some much-deserved down time and good food. We appreciate our customers for understanding and allowing us this short break.”

Anyone needing to stop by the Customer Care Center is asked to do so outside of the closure window. Voice mails and email messages will be handled when staff return to their desks. Except for this short closure, DPU and its Customer Care Center operation are open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and may be contacted at (505) 662-8333 or CustomerCare@lacnm.us.
