Nestled atop the beautiful mesas below the Jemez Mountains, Los Alamos Golf Course offers a challenging 6500 yard par 72, 18 hole layout. Through a multitude of ponderosa pines and cottonwood trees the sloping fairways and small push-up greens provide a challenge to all levels of golfers.
This beautifully maintained golf course, built in 1947 by the Atomic Energy Commission, is the second oldest 18 hole golf course in New Mexico. Owned and operated by the County of Los Alamos, the community is proud of its unique municipal course with such tremendous golfing value.
Panoramic vistas and clear, fresh mountain air at an elevation of 7300 feet provide a beautiful setting to beat the summer heat and enjoy an unforgettable golfing experience.

Hours of Operation
Typically open March - November, sun-up to sundown, 7 days a week (weather permitting).
