2010 KID'S TRIATHLON:

Bicycle Helmets-REQUIRED!  

The Kids Triathlon has historically been programmed as a non-continuous event with an emphasis on family fitness and fun. All child triathletes complete one event before moving to the next event. This structure allows us to work with a broader range of age groups than other child triathlons that are run as continuous events.

For 2010 the Kids Triathlon is being revamped.

CAPACITY: 150 participants

The Kids Triathlon uses Canyon Road exclusively on a CLOSED course.  Please refer to the Adult Triathlon Run Map below.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:

The Los Alamos County Recreation Division is looking for 30 individuals who can volunteer for the following jobs in the 2010 Kid's Triathlon.   All volunteers are provided with a commerative event shirt.

• Traffic Volunteer (adults only) - (12)
• Water Station Volunteer - (4)
• Aquatic Center Volunteer - (6)
• Timing Volunteer - (2)
• Packet Stuffing Volunteer (4)
• Packet Pickup Volunteer (4)
