Comprehensive PlanClick here for the latest updates to the County’s Comprehensive Plan including the new Los Alamos Downtown Element. Municipal Building Site Selection & PlanningOn January 28th Council voted to select the site of the former Los Alamos apartments as the location for a new Municipal Building. Read the recommendations of the Committee and the current progress on planning for the new site. Rendija Canyon Master PlanCDD is currently conducting a community participation project to update the former Master Plan in anticipation of acquiring almost 900 acres of the canyon from Federal government. Capital Improvements ProgramThe County’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a ten-year plan used to identify and coordinate public facility needs in the County, taking into consideration other County plans, goals, and resources.
