Once the County & Schools relocate from the site (on Trinity Drive, south of Marimac Plaza), the goal is to find a developer to build a mixed-use lifestyle center with more retail and shopping.

The County completed its transaction with Main Gate LLC, the developer of Entrada Business Park, earlier this fall. Work is now underway and visible from NM502 for the first building - a new Holiday Inn Express.

DOE Land Transfer Parcel A-6 is the County's land (4.18 acres) located on the south side of NM502 near the entrance to the Los Alamos Airport.

Parcel A-14 is currently used for recreational activities, including the Los Alamos Sportsman’s Club (currently leased by DOE) and the “poor man’s” shooting range.
