The County is working on many economic development initiatives. Below you'll find just a few of our major projects.

Trinity Site Revitalization ProjectOnce the County & Schools relocate from the site (on Trinity Drive, south of Marimac Plaza), the goal is to find a developer to build a mixed-use lifestyle center with more retail and shopping. Entrada Business ParkThe County completed its transaction with Main Gate LLC, the developer of Entrada Business Park, earlier this fall. Work is now underway and visible from NM502 for the first building - a new Holiday Inn Express. DOE Land Transfer Parcel A-6DOE Land Transfer Parcel A-6 is the County's land (4.18 acres) located on the south side of NM502 near the entrance to the Los Alamos Airport. DOE Land Transfer Parcel A-14Parcel A-14 is currently used for recreational activities, including the Los Alamos Sportsman’s Club (currently leased by DOE) and the “poor man’s” shooting range. |
