The Los Alamos County Police Department is a New Mexico Law Enforcement Professional Standards Council Accredited Law Enforcement Agency.

Thank you for visiting the Los Alamos Police Department Website. Our department works to proactively address problems that occur in the community, in order to provide a safe and secure environment for everyone.
The Los Alamos Police Department has a historical tradition of conducting business in a professional and ethical manner. It is also important to recognize that without the input and support we receive from the community, we would be far less effective as we strive to serve this community. Please feel free to contact us at any time with your questions and concerns. We will strive to reach a solution with you or help you find appropriate assistance elsewhere if necessary.
