Code Enforcement Survey
Posted on 07/09/2019

The Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) is tasked with making recommendations to the County Council about the County's code enforcement program.  To ensure these recommendations reflect the needs and interests of the community, the Board is seeking comments about the community's needs and would like to have extensive public comment to help formulate recommendations.

Over the next two months, members of CDAB will be out in the community to canvass neighborhoods and collect input directly from residents. Board members will knock on doors and ask residents a few questions about their experiences and opinions on code enforcement issues. The survey is expected to take about 5-7 minutes and will provide valuable feedback to inform the Board's recommendations to Council.

Residents who would prefer to give comments directly to the Board are encouraged to send an e-mail to cdab.cdd@lacnm.us or provide public comment at regular Board meetings. Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.in Room 110 of the Municipal Building. The next meeting will be July 15th.

As part of it's outreach plans, the Board will also host a booth at the Farmer's Market on Thursday, July 18 from 8:00 a.m. - Noon in the Library overflow lot, and, they will hold an Open House on Thursday, July 25 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. Both of these venues will provide residents with an opportunity to give feedback to the Board.
