 About The Authors Speak Series

Mesa Public Library and the Friends of Los Alamos County Libraries, are pleased to host Quotes: The Authors Speak Series for the community.  Quotes is a monthly event, generally held on the fourth Thursday of the month, featuring local and regional authors speaking about their writing on a variety of subjects such as local and state history, travel, outdoor activities, New Mexico fiction, arts and culture. The talks are free and begin at 7:00 PM, followed by the opportunity to meet the authors afterward and enjoy refreshments. Some authors may participate with book sales and signings. So come by and relax, listen to and meet each in the fascinating lineup of authors.

Can't make the talk? PAC 8 TV has made recordings of some of our recent talks including Anne Hillerman, Don Usner, and Valerie Plame/Sarah Lovett. The Authors Speak recordings air on the following schedule on the PAC 8 website:

Monday 1:00 PM

Wednesday 11:00 AM

Thursday 1:00 PM

Friday 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM
