  • Purpose: The parks and recreation board is established to serve as a central point of communication for the parks and recreation interests of the county and as an advisory body to the county council. The October 17,1977, resolution creating the recreation board for the Incorporated County of Los Alamos is hereby repealed and voided. (Ord. No. 02-278, § 2, 10-3-2006)

  • Authorization: (Ord. No. 02-278, § 2, 10-3-2006) County Code Chapter 8 Sections 8-141 through 8-143
  • Composition: seven members

  • Term: two-year staggered terms beginning on December 1 and ending on November 30.

  • Meetings: The second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Aquatic Center Training Room
