Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board

  • Purpose:  To advise the Administrator and Council on the expenditures of funds received through this tax for advertising, publicizing and promoting tourist attractions and facilities in and around the County of Los Alamos.

  • Authorization: Sections 3-38-13 through 3-38-24, NMSA, 1978; County Code Chapter 8, Article VII, Sections 8-221 - 8-223.

  • Composition: - Two representatives of lodging industry, two representatives of tourist-related industries and one member at large.

  • Term: Three years, staggered. Beginning December 2nd and ending December 1st.

  • Meetings: Generally the third Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in the Los Alamos Visitor Center -109 Central Park Square.
