Clean Up Los Alamos Day 

The 11th annual Clean Up Los Alamos Day will take place on Saturday, June 21st. Get your group or neighborhood involved in beautifying our community and preparing for wildfire season. Register online here to receive gloves and trash bags for your clean up group. All participants are invited to attend the volunteer appreciation picnic from noon to 1 pm on the 21st at Ashley Pond  Click here for a paper copy of the registration form. 

 

Just looking to clean up around your house?  Take advantage of free disposal for County residents at the Eco Station and Overlook Convenience Center on June 21st and 22nd!
 

2013 Results

The 10th Annual Clean Up Los Alamos Day was held on Saturday April 27th, and over 500 participants helped beautify the community and prepare for wildfire season.  Los Alamos County Environmental Services would first like to thank the other event sponsors that make this wonderful community event possible; Los Alamos National Bank, Los Alamos County Community Wildfire Protection, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Santa Fe.


Last year we had around 500 participants.  All the sponsors would like to thank the following groups for their participation in this year’s event: Bilingual Montessori School, Rotary Club of Los Alamos , Los Alamos County Green Team, Girl Scout Service Unit 22, Cub Scout Pack 222, Los Alamos Master Gardeners, Ponderosa Montessori, Pack 22, Dean Decker, Annette Shalles, Mountain School, Los Alamos Kiwanis Club, iCare Wednesdays, LA Chinese Christian Fellowship, Stan Kosiewicz, Starbucks in Los Alamos, Boy Scout Troop 222, LA Co-op Market, Rotary Club of Los Alamos, Our Lady of the Woods, Cub Scout Pack 27, Los Alamos Senior Center RSVP, Pajarito Environmental Education Center, Rotary Club of Los Alamos, the Perch Paperie, Merrick and Co., Daisy Scout Troop 10353, New Beginning Fellowship, Los Alamos Little League, White Rock Girls Scouts, Enviro Kids, the Kucko Family, Jacqueline McCormick and Tuff Riders.
