The Capital Projects & Facilities Department office (Administration), is located at 1925 Trinity Drive, Suite B -- south of Ashley Pond just west of the Qwest building. The mailing address is 1925 Trinity Drive, Suite B, Los Alamos, NM 87544.

Department Director: Anne Laurent, a LEED Certified licensed architect, started work with the County in September 2008. She brings to the County a passion for building projects no matter how challenging, because teamwork and problem solving keep her motivated and challenged.
After earning Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Rhode Island School of Design, Anne worked as a planner for the Arizona State Parks Department. Anne continued her professional career in private architecture focusing on K-12 school design in both Arizona and Michigan where she eventually became studio manager for a full service private architecture / engineering firm working on a variety of commercial and governmental projects.
Anne has also served as Facility Manager for the Interurban Transit Partnership, the local public bus transportation service in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Dan Erickson serves as the Capital Projects Division Manager. Dan was born and raised in Los Alamos and after receiving a BS in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University, he toured the western United States working on various construction projects in Nevada, California and Arizona. While this was a wonderful experience he soon missed home and returned to Los Alamos. Dan has been employed by the County since July 2008. Dan brings 20 years of construction, engineering, and project management experience to the County.

James (Jim) Zerr serves as the Facilities Manager in the Capital Projects & Facilities Department. Jim holds a GB98 license and is a qualifying party for Los Alamos County. He received his Associates degree in Electronics from the Denver Institute of Technology and has been with the County since 1998. Prior to working for the County, Jim worked for ten years with various contractors as a superintendent.
The Facilities Division is committed to providing uncompromised preservation of county structures. Facilities staff provides planned facility maintenance / improvements, contract support for remodeling projects, strategic work-space planning, and emergency response (call-outs) for alarm and system failures for all County buildings.

Bob Feagans serves as the Custodial Superintendent in the Capital Projects & Facilities Department. Bob holds a Registered Building Service Manager certification and attended Ohio State University and Sinclair College. Prior to working for the county, Bob worked in the Building Service Contractors field for 18 years as Regional Manager and VP of Operations.
The Custodial Division provides custodial and event support services for all County facilities.
