The Capital Projects & Facilities Department office (Administration), is located at 1925 Trinity Drive, Suites B -- south of Ashley Pond just west of the Qwest building. The mailing address is PO Box 30, Los Alamos, NM 87544.

Capital Projects & Facilities Department Director: Anne Laurent, a LEED Certified licensed architect, started work with the County as the Capital Projects & Facilities Department Director in September 2008, and brings to the County a passion for building projects, no matter how challenging, because team work and problem solving keeps her motivated and challenged!
She earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a Bachelors in Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design, after which she worked as a planner for the Arizona State Parks. Anne continued her professional career in private architecture focusing on K-12 school design and then returned to Michigan where she eventually became Studio Manager for a full service private architecture / engineering firm working on all types of commercial projects.
Anne has also worked as a facility manager for the Interurban Transit Partnership, which is the local public bus transportation service in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Wayne is a graduate of New Mexico State University and has a degree in Industrial Engineering. He has worked in public service since 1985 in various positions and started with the County in 1999.

Facilities Division Manager: James Zerr

James (Jim) Zerr serves as the Facilities Manager in the Capital Projects & Facilities Department. Jim holds a GB98 license and is a qualifying party for Los Alamos County. He received his Associates degree in Electronics from the Denver Institute of Technology and has been with the County since 1998. Prior to working for the County, Jim worked for ten years with various contractors as a superintendent.
The Facilities Division is committed to providing uncompromised preservation of county structures. Facilities staff provides planned facility maintenance / improvements, contract support for remodeling projects, strategic work-space planning, and emergency response (call-outs) for alarm and system failures for all County buildings.

Bob Feagans serves as the Custodial Superintendent in the Capital Projects & Facilities Department. Bob holds a Registered Building Service Manager certification and attended Ohio State University and Sinclair College. Prior to working for the county, Bob worked in the Building Service Contractors field for 18 years as Regional Manager and VP of Operations.
The Custodial Division provides custodial and event support services for all County facilities.
