The mission of the New Mexico Resuscitation Academy is to improve survival from cardiac arrest throughout the state of New Mexico and its surrounding regions. This will be achieved through the involvement of EMS managers, medical directors, 911 dispatchers, and EMS field personnel in a program modeled after Seattle's and Maryland's Resuscitation Academies and conducted by The Los Alamos Fire Department and Howard County Fire and Rescue.
