Is it okay to put the snow from my property into the street?

Putting snow into the streets may cause ice buildup and result in snow and ice being plowed back onto driveways or sidewalks during mop-up operations.  Instead, please shovel snow onto adjacent lawns or property.

As a reminder, residents are encouraged to keep their sidewalks, parking areas, and driveways in reasonably passable condition and to remove snow or ice from these areas once snowfall has stopped.  When significant snow accumulation of 6 inches or more occurs, please periodically clear these areas to allow for continued safe passage.
